Let’s Do This

We ‘use’ science to ‘protect’ us
We think, ‘just inject us’
And we’ll be healthy and strong
I’m afraid this ‘science’
Is sometimes wrong

The ‘pop a pill’ solution
Can cause us bodily pollution
That taxes the system we’ve been given
Much like our way of living

What if we could see
There’s much that we can do
In our daily choices
And in our policies too

To create an ecosystem
In our government and ourselves
That allows us all to thrive
Not ingesting processed food from the shelves

Whole and living foods
Clean and pure water
Maternity leave policies
So we can breastfeed our sons and daughters

Supporting what we have
Not overriding what God created
This is the key to health
It cannot be overstated
